The unfortunate warrior of Mahabharata
The unfortunate warrior of Mahabharata is also known as the great Karna. He is originally known, as Vasusena is one of the central characters in the Tales of Mahabharata. Karna was a true warrior, whose martial skills are recorded in the epic, and the only warrior who can able to defeat Arjuna in battle. Karna's Dig Vijay Yatra, a campaign in which he conquered all kings in every direction of the world, Karna is the first person in history who had faced the tribulation of being born in a lower caste (although he was Kshatriya). He was humiliated from time after time for this fact only and faced many hostilities from his brothers the Pandavas. He is always known that he is a skilled archer and people are known for his generosity, courage, and his loyalty towards Duryodhana. He knew that he was fighting against his brother and he was on the losing side, but he did not leave Duryodhana.
He is known
for his charity and the lord of the devas Indra disguised as an old brahmin
went to Karna and asked for his kawach and kundal in daan (alms), Indra asked
for this gift to reduce his strength, as he knew that warrior Karna would
defeat his son Arjuna. Karna knows that Indra is playing a trick but the
generous Karna parted his kawach and kundal that making him invincible. During
the battle with Arjuna, his chariot wheel was stuck in the mud, as per the
battle rules Karna can call Arjuna and
ask for time but Krishna find an opportunity and tell Arjuna to destroy the
chariot first, then broke Karna’s bow, and finally ask Arjuna to kill Karna who was standing in the
battlefield without any weapon in his hand. Karna finally fulfilled his
mother’s wish and to his friend’s until the end and he never wavered from his
path irrespective of the promised future by Krishna.
Society may
not be fair, but existence is perfectly fair – unless you do the right things,
the right things will not happen to you. Nothing that we value in our life
would be valuable if you could do, wrong things and still the right things
happen to you. Life does not work like that.
